The learning content and knowledge assessment of this course are delivered in an online format, followed by face to face practical skills assessment session.  With instruction and practical training in line with legal, workplace and community considerations, Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines and other Australian national peak clinical bodies, this first aid course teaches the skills and knowledge to recognise emergencies and provide immediate and effective CPR, first aid treatment and oxygen therapy in a range of complex situations, including community and workplace settings.

This advanced emergency response course is designed for individuals who may be required to respond to serious medical emergencies, cardiac arrest, or suspected spinal injuries in the workplace, at events, or in high-risk environments.

Participants will gain the knowledge and practical skills to perform advanced resuscitation, administer oxygen therapy, and provide emergency care for a casualty with a suspected spinal injury until professional medical assistance arrives.

This course set is suitable for experienced first responders working in roles where rapid, confident, and clinically appropriate decision-making is essential.
