AFS have been the preferred training partner for NRL for the complete Level 1 and 2 Sports Trainer programmes since 2021. With over 100 trainers nationally and internationally we are set to cover all training from community club level right through to the elite grades. In 2024 alone we will deliver over 600 courses across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and PNG

AFS' Role
- Appointed as NRL Sports Trainer compliance training supplier.
- Supply qualified trainer to design and deliver Level 1 and 2 Sports Trainer from Community Club to Elite grade Levels
- First Aid, Spinal Injury Management and Advanced Resuscitation.
- First Response and Sports Injury Management
Quality Assurance
- AFS Group select and approve the most qualified and experienced trainer to deliver group training.
- Dedicated NRL Project Management team to ensure course delivery and timely processing of accreditation for all participants.
- Training Administration schedule to ensure all qualifications are current and compliant
- Management team available and accessible, ensuring the highest quality of service delivery
Outcome
- All NRL club trainers and volunteers who are assigned as a Sports Trainer for their respective clubs and divisions will have participated and become successfully accredited for the NRL specific courses every year before the season kicks off.
